Captivating a business audience doesn’t come naturally to most business speakers
大部分商务演讲家并不是天生就拥有令听众神魂颠倒的能力。
But ethey can learn to do it and have fun–
with minimum stress and plenty of charisma
但人们可以学会这种能力，使自己处于最小的压力同时尽情展现个人非凡魅力中获得乐趣
Today I want to share with you my seven success tactics of business speech,
今天我想与你们一同分享商务演说的七种成功策略，
which I get from my personal business speech-making experience
这些都是我从我个人的商务演讲经验中总结出来的。
First,don’t give a sales pitch,but do speak on your topic
首先，不要过于注重商品宣传，但要紧扣主题。
Speak about interesting stuff to the audience even make them laugh,
but give a geat speech
尽量说些有趣的东西甚至使你的听众发笑，这样你就得做个出色的演讲。
If you sell burglar alarms,speak about home safety;
如果你是买防盗铃的，你就谈谈家居安全问题。
if you sell copiers,speak about image and productivityGet it?
如果你是卖复印机的，你就多谈些图片和效率问题。知道吗？
Second,pick a great audience
第二，选择理想的听众。
There are groups and there are groupsPick the best ones with the highest profile,most likely to have the bigwigs
从多个听众群众中挑选出你最佳的听众——形象好，看起来都是大腕人物。
Third,give a handout
第三，派发讲义。
Even if just a few pages,
虽然仅是那么几张纸
a handout will help the audience follow alongand it precludes you from having to memorize the talk
但它可以帮助听众跟随你的演讲而且还可以使你避免反整个演讲内容背下来。
And it gives every member of the audience a way to contact you
此外，它还为你与你的听众提供了交流的方式。
WarningGive out the handout when you start to use it never before you begin
但要注意，你得在开始使用讲义时才派发它，千万不能在你演讲之前派发。
If you give out the handout before you start your talk,people will read one thing while you’re speaking about another,
如果你在开始演讲前派发了讲义，听众就会在你讲一个内容时看了另外的内容，
and(worse)you lose andience control and the impact of your message
（更糟的是）你会失去对听众伯控制能力和影响。
Fourth,videotape it
第四，把演讲过程录下来。
After the talk you can play the video at homeand see how good you really are as opposed to how good you think you are
演讲结束后，你可以在家看录象带，这样你就能够把你的实际表现同你预期评估进行对比。
Fifth,ask for audience evaluations
第五，征求听众的评价。
Read about your impact,if any
你可以得知你的影响力。
Sixth,give value,get leads
第六，重视听众反馈，提高演讲实力。
At the end of your talk,offer something for free in exchange for their card
在演讲结束时，免费派发一些物品以换取听众对你的意见卡。
The cards you get are leads
这些卡就是对你的指导。
The last one is hang around after the meeting
最后一点是演讲结束后停留在现场。
That’s when you find out what your impact was and who your best prospects are
这个时候，你可以发现是什么东西给予听众最大的冲击，谁又是你最佳的潜在听众。
