Who is your enemy? In a war you must know whom you're fighting. And in life, did you know that your real enemy is in your own mind? You see nothing can defeat or ruin your life more than your own wrong thinking about yourself. If you believe and think that you're not smart, or that you're lazy, and you'll never succeed in life, that's just what you'll be.
谁是你的敌人？战争的首要原则是你必须知道在与谁决战。在人生中，你是否认识到，你真正的敌人是你自己的心灵呢？没有什么东西比你对自己的误识更能击败和中伤你了。如果你认为自己不够敏慧，人也懒散，那你就会终生一事无成，你会真的像你以为的那样生活。
Because we become whatever we think we are. That's why the Bible says: "As a man sees himself, so is that man or woman." So friend,your low self-confidence will limit and paralyze you. You really have many abilities, but if you don't believe you have them, you'll never use them. And your fear of failing or being rejected by people can stop you from moving ahead in life.
因为我们是自己所认为的自己。这就是为什么《圣经》上会写："他心怎样思量，他为人就是怎样。"朋友，你消沉的自信心将限制你，击垮你。你可能真的具有许多能力，但如果你不相信自己拥有它们。那你就水远也不会去发挥它们。惧怕失败和担心别人的排斥，这些会阻止你迈向成功。
You know that in zoos, a baby elephant is tied with a thick chain to a strong post, a strong pillar? And At first, the elephant pulls and tries to get free from the chain. But finally it gives up and stops pulling. After that, only a thin rope is all that's needed to tie that big elephant down.
你知道吗？在动物园里，一只小象被一条结实的链子拴在一根坚固的柱子上。起初，小象奋力挣脱，想摆脱锁链的束缚而获自由，但最终它放弃了，停止了挣脱。此后，仅需一根细绳子就可以约束这个庞然大物了。
Because the rest of his life, that elephant believes he is stuck and he doesn't have the strength to break that little thin rope. You see friend, we all can become like that elephant. Because if I let myself think that I can't go any further in life than this, then I won't go any further.Just think a minute…
因为在余下的日子里，这头象已相信自己被紧紧圈住了，它无力再挣脱那根细绳。朋友，你瞧，我们都有可能像那头小象，因为如果你让自己相信在生活中不能再进取了，那么你就真的会原地踏步。
