We're a people whose heroes live not only in the past, but all around us, defending hope, pride, and defending the American way.
民族的英雄不仅活在过去，他们就在我们周围，就是那些捍卫希望、骄傲和美国方式的人。
They work in every trade. They sacrifice to raise a family.
他们工作在各行各业，他们奉献自我供养家庭。
They care for our children at home. They defend our flag abroad. And they are strong moms and brave kids.
他们关心家里的孩子。他们捍卫海外的国旗。他们是强大的母亲和勇敢的孩子。
They are firefighters and police officers and border agents, medics and Marines.
他们是消防员、警察、边境探员、医护人员和海军陆战队员。
But above all else, they are Americans. And this Capitol, this city, this Nation belongs entirely to them.
但最重要的，他们是美国人。这幢国会大厦，这座城市，这个国家，都属于他们。
Our task is to respect them, to listen to them, to serve them, to protect them, and to always be worthy of them.
我们的职责是尊重他们、倾听他们，服务他们，保护他们，并且永不辜负他们。
Americans fill the world with art and music.
美国人给了世界艺术和音乐，
They push the bounds of science and discovery.

And they forever remind us of what we should never, ever forget: The people dreamed this country.

The people built this country. And it's the people who are making America great again.

As long as we are proud of who we are and what we are fighting for, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

As long as we have confidence in our values, faith in our citizens, and trust in our God, we will never fail.
